At level 79 all classes can learn 3 skills, that requires rare books, dropped from epic bosses:

• Protection of Rune Lv. 1 — Forgotten Scroll: Protection of Rune NG
• Protection of Elemental Lv. 1 — Forgotten Scroll: Protection of Elemental NG
• Protection of Alignment Lv. 1 — Forgotten Scroll: Protection of Alignment NG

In addition to the battle with the epic boss, one book of your choice can be obtained for completing Freya's quest chain.

So what is the value of these skills? Let's figure it out.

Skill Effects

Besides the main effect, each skill have a chance to trigger additional effect, when character receive damage.

Protection of Elemental Lv. 1	Increase resistance to Earth, Wind, Fire and Water by 20
Protection of Alignment Lv. 1	Increases resistance to Holy and Dark by 20

If character receives 300 pt. or more damage from any target, then with 20% chance Protection Power Lv. 1 triggered.

Protection of Elemental Lv. 1 and Protection of Alignment Lv. 1

If character receives 300 pt. or more damage from any target, then with 20% chance Protection Power Lv. 1 triggered.

Effect

Protection Power Lv. 1 — increases M. Def. by 1000 and resistance to all attributes by 20.

Duration time 10 seconds, triggered no more than once every 30 seconds.
